Carlos Florenca is the Owner and Lead Technician of All In One Advanced Auto Repair in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1978 to Portuguese parents, Carlos developed a passion for automobiles at an early age while learning the trade from his father, Jose Manuel Florenca. Growing up around vehicles and repairs, Carlos admired his father’s work ethic, mechanical skill, and dedication to helping others. Inspired by those experiences, he decided early on that he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career as an automotive technician.
In December 1999, Carlos immigrated to the United States and settled in the North Bergen and West New York area. Determined to build a future in the automotive industry, he quickly began working in the field and developing the skills that would become the foundation of his career.
Carlos started his automotive career with Ramirez and Sons in West New York, where he worked from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, he joined Carlos Sobrino at the original Advanced Auto Repair in Fairview, New Jersey. As the business grew and relocated to Little Ferry in 2006, Carlos became an integral part of the shop’s success, earning a reputation for his technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

After nearly two decades with Advanced Auto Repair, Carlos joined Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Teterboro in 2019 to further expand his knowledge and factory training. During his time with Chrysler, he earned multiple certifications in Engine Diagnostics, Powertrain Systems, Air Conditioning and HVAC, Brake Systems, Air Suspension, and Emissions Diagnostics. Carlos quickly distinguished himself as one of the dealership’s few A-Level Technicians, mastering advanced certification programs in record time and becoming known for diagnosing and repairing some of the most challenging vehicle issues.
In late 2024, Carlos returned to Advanced Auto Repair, reuniting with longtime mentor and friend Carlos Sobrino. Recognizing Carlos’s dedication, technical ability, and passion for the automotive industry, Carlos Sobrino chose him to continue the legacy he had built over decades. In early 2025, Carlos proudly purchased the business and began its next chapter as All In One Advanced Auto Repair.
Beyond his professional career, Carlos has always had a passion for high-performance vehicles and motorsports. He enjoys performance engine building, vehicle modifications, and spending time at the racetrack, where he continues to expand his understanding of vehicle dynamics, performance tuning, and automotive engineering. This enthusiasm carries over into the shop, where he enjoys helping customers improve both the performance and reliability of their vehicles.
Today, Carlos leads a team focused on advanced diagnostics, ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, electrical diagnostics, engine and transmission repairs, performance engine work, and preventative maintenance. Under his leadership, All In One Advanced Auto Repair has invested in state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, ADAS technology, and the John Bean Visualize V4400 Alignment System to ensure customers receive dealership-level expertise with the personalized attention of a locally owned independent repair facility.
Carlos’s philosophy is simple: diagnose accurately, communicate honestly, and repair vehicles correctly the first time. His commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer service continues to drive the success of All In One Advanced Auto Repair and the relationships he has built with customers throughout Bergen County and Northern New Jersey.
